We are required by law to request the email address of a parent or guardian at the time of your newsletter registration. We will use this address to notify your parent or guardian that you have asked us to send you newsletters at various intervals.
The information we request from you is used to enable us to know who you are and which newsletters you wish to receive.
If you ask us to send you some important information to enable you to login to the website, we may ask for more details to verify your identity, but will delete these details as soon as we have sent you the information you requested.
Children’s Online Privacy
Children under 13 who want to register for newsletters on this site are not required to have parents’ permission to complete the registration process. However, we will notify a parent of this registration, and in doing so we provide parents’ with the opportunity to refuse registration of the child. In addition, parents may revoke their consent at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by clicking the link in the email sent to them at the time of registration.
Any user under 13 found to be in breach of this practice will be removed from our system.
We will not ask any one under 13, or anyone else who wishes to take part in further activity on this website, to disclose any more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity.
Making changes or deleting your information
You may unsubscribe from our newsletter service and thereby delete your information by visiting out ‘Newsletter Subscription’ page. We have provided you the facility to unsubscribe by entering your email address in the box marked ‘Unsubscribe’. You will then receive a confirmation email, in which there is a link. Click on the link in the email to confirm you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter system. We won’t send you any more emails after you click this link.
You or your parents may change or delete any information we hold about you at any time by emailing us at email@example.com.
