How do I join the club?

Simply click Join Our Club at the foot of any page and follow the instructions. Note that we currently have the below restrictions on memberships:Seniors will be automatically added to the wait list for Tennis and Pickleball as appropriate;We are not offering new Senior applicants multisport memberships;Intermediates will be added to the wait list for Pickleball;Minis and juniors and are not able to join Pickleball at all

Do I or my children need to be members to attend the Holiday Camps?

No. Attendees of group sessions and other LTA initiatives that the club supports do not need to be members.

Can my child attend the club unsupervised?

Accepted Answer

Attendees of group sessions and other LTA initiatives that the club supports do not need supervision.

However, any child under the age of 13 years old and not attending a supervised session (such as coaching, holiday camps) must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 at all times whilst at the club.

What does it cost to join the club?

Do my children get free membership?

Accepted Answer

We currently offer the below discounts to children:100% to minis (under 11) living with members Active in one or more sports50% to juniors (11-17) living with members Active in one or more sportsIf you are a Social member, a Guardian or on the waiting list, then your children will have to pay the appropriate fee until you become a full fee playing member.

Can I join part way through your membership year?

Yes. You can join at any time of the year and will only be charged for the remainder on a pro rata basis.

How long does it take to process my application?

We aim to process all applications within 5 working days, although at busy times this can take slightly longer. If you have not heard from us within a week of your application please use the Get In Touch function on the website.

Question 8

I don't play sports. Do I need to join the club in order for my children to join?

Accepted Answer

As part of our safeguarding policy, all minis and juniors need to have a guardian member who must be at least 18 years old.

Guardian membership is free - simply enter your details on the application form, select Guardian as the membership category and press <Submit>.

Then apply for your children in turn.

Question 9

What if I become injured or develop an illness?

The Club recognises that there are genuine reasons why members would want to suspend membership whilst they recover from an indisposition - major illness or injury.Click here to see our Indisposition (Injury and Illness) Policy

Question 10

Can I bring a guest along to the club?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Members can bring a maximum of 5 playing guests (the same or different) per membership year. Due to heavy court demand guest players are restricted to playing outside of peak hours, ie: before 5pm or after 8pm.Note that you will need to be a playing member with booking rights to do this and will need to pay £8 per guest per visit.
